Chris Ramsaran Family Primary Care and Sports Medicine

Introduction

Chris Ramsaran Family & Sports Medicine is a primary care medical office dedicated to treating a wide range of acute and chronic medical illnesses as well as sports related injuries. Our physician is Fellowship trained who has worked with college, high school athletes and weekend warriors alike and wants to keep you in your game.

Care Provided

We can manage your primary care needs with the goal of promoting and maintaining optimal health. Since approximately 90 percent of all musculoskeletal injuries are non-surgical, we can accurately diagnose and optimize non-operative treatment for musculoskeletal issues including acute ankle, knee and shoulder injuries, muscle strains, joint dislocations and overuse injuries such as stress fractures and tendonitis. When referral to physical therapy is necessary, we provide guidance to the physical therapist to appropriately guide rehabilitation.

Your Visit

We offer flexible appointment scheduling and payment options. We accept cash and all major credit cards, in addition to major medical insurances including Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Health Care (and we’re always expanding our coverage).

We are a Family Primary Care and Sports Medicine Practice.

Personalized care for families is our specialty. Yearly school physicals, per-participation sports physicals, well child care and gynecology services (including pap smears) are available. Among other chronic ailments, we manage diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis and high cholesterol.

"Walk-in" care is offered, however patients with appointments do take precedence.

Sports Medicine

Almost anyone who exercises on a regular basis will develop an ache, pain or sports injury at some time or another. The number and type of sports injuries are as varied as the individuals who play sports, but some injuries are more likely than others.
